A PERSONAL STATEMENT

I believe that all ideas stem from life experiences. I would hope that my creations have an inner life and that my art reveals strength, power and beauty. Without shame or apology, my sculpture evokes a commitment to human sensibility and reaffirmation. My work has included representational, realistic art to abstract and architectural forms.

I have participated and won many awards at group shows. I have had three one-woman exhibitions. Photos of my work appear in the first Critics Choice exhibition in New York City, in which each critic was asked to choose an outstanding sculptor of that year. Photographs of my work also appear along with Georgia O'Keefe, Lee Krasner, Elaine de Kooning and Helen Frankenthaler in the book A Personal Journal, published by Running Press, and in the September 11, 2001 book Reflections: A Time of Terror, a Search for Healing, published by Global Commitment Foundation, Inc.

I continue to work in stone and bronze. My art is owned by many private collectors.
